I know some of you are waiting for the rest of the China notes – I’ll get back to them. I'm briefly on hiatus from Big Flat University, visiting Big Swamp University, collecting data for upcoming exams, being RadioWoman, and musing on the similarity between the Yangtze and Ohio River Valley’s soggy air, abundant vegetation, chiggers, and mosquitos. Yeah, it shur' is purty here, but I don’t think there’s a single animal, vegetable, mineral or abstract concept in this town that doesn’t bite.
Never thought I would miss dust and hail, or get mildly annoyed because I couldn't see the incredible sunrise because of all those pesky trees. Hasta luego...
